Wildflower Volunteer Code of Conduct
=========================================================

I agree to be a volunteer worker at the 2025 Wildflower Experience at Lake San Antonio, Monterey County, California between Friday, May 2nd, and Sunday, May 4th between the hours of 6:00 am - 8:00 pm. I realize I will not work the entire time, but I will be available to my team leaders for a minimum of 6 hours per day as needed during this time. I understand the following rules and regulations:

Volunteers must arrive at the park on Friday, May 2nd between 2 pm - 8 pm to receive free entry into the event. (No volunteers will be allowed into the park on Thursday or Saturday). All volunteers and guests will be required to present a valid student identification card at the front gate of the parks (please do not arrive more than one hour prior to gate opening).

Volunteers and volunteer guests will not leave the event until after 3:00 pm on Sunday when the roads are designated open by the Parks Department. Volunteers who leave the event early, without written permission, will be charged the non-volunteer camping and festival per-person fees. In addition, the group will be notified of non-cooperation.

Some volunteer teams will be required to work on Friday and at other times than those specifically listed above. If volunteers are on a team which requires other times the group will work the requested hours of the team leader. Volunteers will not be permitted to leave the event before 3:00 PM on Sunday.

Volunteers are not permitted to work while under the influence of alcohol or drugs or to consume or possess alcohol or drugs while volunteering.

While camping in the Monterey County Park, you are subject to the Monterey County Parks Department rules governing Lake San Antonio camping.

Except for the specific duty hours assigned to the volunteers, they are not on duty as a volunteer for Wildflower Experience and are responsible for their own actions.

Volunteers agree not to bring any hard alcohol, drugs, large furniture, knives, guns, or harmful items into the park. Volunteers also agree not to bring pets or boats into the park. No boats will be allowed in “Beach City” or within 200 yards of the shoreline. The Monterey County Parks has authorization to tow and/or ticket anyone violating this rule.

Beach City will be closed 8 am-3 pm on Saturday and 8 am-2 pm on Sunday. All volunteers and volunteer guests are required to leave Beach City and be in their designated work area during these hours, or if not volunteering, be in the Lynch Festival Area.

As a volunteer, I understand I will also receive lunch and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday along with a complimentary dinner (wristband required) will be served on Friday and Saturday night. In addition, I will receive a volunteer packet upon entry, which includes a free event T-shirt. I will be responsible for all other food, clothing, camping supplies, and equipment needed at the event.
